Training the next generation of wellness leaders
Our goal is to achieve greater inclusivity in yoga leadership to more accurately reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.
We take our teacher training programs into the community to make it easier for those wishing to participate.
Our diverse roster of teacher trainers makes it possible to learn from people of similar life experiences and backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, and social location.
All our teacher-training programs are trauma-informed, teaching participants how
to work with members of vulnerable and under-resourced communities who have had traumatic experiences.
Our training focuses on five categories of trauma: domestic abuse, LGBTQ+, addictions, housing/food insecurity, and racial/political injustice.
The Trainings are made financially feasible with scholarships for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and marginalized students.
Supporting Trainees and Graduates
Our trainings and workshops make teaching a viable career path, so that more diverse voices can be included in positions of power in the industry.
Our tailored support of both trainees and graduates is the highlight of the Majestic Teacher Training program, and our way of paying it forward.
We provide unparalleled resources, to help ensure they emerge well-rounded, informed, and ready to make a difference.
Students receive world-class one-on-one mentoring as a key element of their training.
With individualized, sensitive attention, they are supported 100 percent as they transform into teachers.
Majestic Wellness will pay graduates to teach in their own communities or in other underserved populations.
