Hope.

Hope rests in your heart.

Whenever I lose hope, my heart feels heavy I feel disconnected and a deep sadness. This is so unlike me as I have always seen the world through rose colored glasses. I can always find the good in something or someone. But over the last years, life has been harder. There are so many pains and struggles in the world and I carry them all in my heart.

I learned at a young age that having daily selfcare rituals helped me to stay centered, grounded, and true to my self.
By delving into the ancient teachings and meditation and yoga practices, they help guide me back into my heart. And little by little, I rediscover hope in my heart, hope in myself, hope in people, hope in life, hope in the world.

Hope lies deep within. No matter how messy the world is outside or inside of us, we can always find it. We just have to pause and connect to the stillness within.

Take a few minutes today to get still. Sit outside, listen to the birds. If you are in the city, tune the background noises out and draw your attention to the birds. They are amazing mentors.🙂

Try repeating this mantra for 10 - 15 minutes. I like to inhale "I am" and exhale "Peace..." It helps me to slow down, my breath deepens, and I get quieter.
I am peace
I am calm
I am love
I am hope

Keep your heart open to love and hope.
Remember....you are hope. Believe and trust.

Much Love,
Lindsay
