Winter Solstice Meditation

As we welcome the Winter Solstice, pause and turn inward. This is a sacred moment—a pause in the rhythm of the year to reflect, reset, and renew.

In this moment, let go of the past and release thoughts of the future. There is only the present—the perfect now.
Allow yourself to settle into this perfect moment, embodying the wisdom of Yogastah Kuru Karmani—steadfast in yoga, act from the heart.

Begin with your breath:

Inhale deeply, drawing in a cleansing breath of pure, radiant light.
Exhale slowly, releasing the weight of darkness.
Inhale the breath of light, inviting clarity and healing.
Exhale, letting go of fear.
Inhale the breath of light, filling yourself with warmth and vitality.
Exhale, softening the grip of anger or tension.

Feel yourself surrounded by the quiet stillness of the season. Imagine the light of the Solstice as a gentle golden glow within you, growing brighter with each breath.

Now, bring intention into your breath:

Breathe in light and warmth, as if the sun itself is shining within your heart.
Exhale, soften your body, your mind, and your spirit. Let go of all that no longer serves you.
Inhale love—pure, unconditional love.
Exhale love—offering it freely to yourself, to others, and to the world.

Pause here in silence:
Rest in this state of fullness, held by the perfect balance of the Solstice. Feel your inner light steady and unwavering, a source of warmth even in the darkest times.

As you prepare to re-enter your day, carry this light with you. Let it guide your words, your actions, and your heart as you move forward.

Much love,
Lindsay
